A beautiful bronze sculpture of a ballet dancer resting before her next performance. Sculpted initially in clay using a life model. Her verdigris tutti and ballet shoes contrasting against her slender bronze body. Inspired by Degas paintings of ballet dancers.
The bronze has been cast at the V&P Tassis Art Foundry and their production takes 6-8 weeks. The bronzes are limited edition of 8, signed and accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
